Freelance Web Developer at kote2.tokyo
Japan-based content creator passionate about exploring beyond the typical tourist trail. I launched TAKE ME THERE JAPAN to share the side of Japan that doesn't make it into guidebooks.
I'm an avid scuba diver, and on my trips to Okinawa, I've learned that local taxi drivers always know the best spots — the restaurants, the views, the places guidebooks miss. That's why we built this site around firsthand voices from current and former taxi drivers. Please make the most of it!

CEO of Dragon Contents Inc.
I have over 20 years of experience in the digital content distribution industry.
Through my long-standing involvement in promoting Japan overseas, I came to realize that Japan possesses many authentic charms that have yet to be discovered by the world, which led me to co-found TAKE ME THERE JAPAN.
The company aims to introduce the “real Japan” to the world—one that goes beyond mere tourist attractions to encompass the Japanese spirit, culture, the allure of regional areas, and connections with people.

ReviewerI'm a 30-year-old male taxi driver with 8 years of experience. Currently, I work for a major taxi company in Tokyo. I'll be sharing insider information on recommended restaurants, hidden tourist spots, and tips for efficiently visiting popular tourist destinations across Japan through "TAKE ME THERE JAPAN!", together with fellow taxi drivers from all over the country.
I also write a column for "Taxi Job":

Found a lovely spot on Instagram – check out the rest on this site.
Tourists often find spots on Instagram, but struggle with practical info (how to actually get there, what to do, what to expect). This site fills that gap.
Our Dedication
This website places emphasis on the following aspects.
Take Me Here Card
A handy card showing your destination in Japanese — just show it to a taxi driver, hotel staff, or locals to get there without language barriers.
Reflecting regular feedback from tourists.
We gather feedback from the international community and incorporate it into the site's UI/UX. This is done on a regular basis.
Detailed spot information
I will try to use my own images as much as possible. However, I prioritize detailed information about the spots.
If this is well-received, I am considering contacting local taxi companies to include actual reviews from veteran taxi drivers and "tips from the field" (their frank and honest local insights) to make this site truly unique. I look forward to your feedback!
